I forgot to mention there will be an artists reception at the Carver Hill Gallery on Saturday, November 15th from 1:00 - 6:00 pm. The gallery director has asked to have my new pears painting for the show along with the other seven that she already has. To save on gas and mileage on the old Jeepster, I'll probably just pop the painting in the mail once it's dried and varnished. I was surprised that the owners included my "Nectarines" painting on their promotional material...it's not one of my favorites. The Carver Hill Gallery is also newly representing Caren-Marie Michel whose acrylic landscape is on the bottom left. I used to exhibit with Caren when I was at the Westbrook gallery. Her career has really taken off here in Maine.

It seems that yours is soaring as well!
I have a friend in my art club who does beautiful photo-realistic work like you do... Erin Ceron... I just saw her work in Southwest Art Magazine this month!
I just don't know how you do it... Just amazing!! I could never do anything like that no matter how long I painted....
Thanks for dropping by my blog.
Marian,
Thanks for the kind words. You have me curious about your friend now, Erin. I will have to look her up on-line to view her work. I haven't been in any publications yet so I can only imagine what that's like.
Jean, thanks for sharing the link to your friend's work. Something I like about the blogosphere is the generosity of the artists.
Mary,
I love to share info and certainly regarding other artists. I know of some art bloggers who won't even respond to "certain" artists comments or even give an artist a link on their site if they feel threatened by their work. I think that's awful and won't behave that way.
Oh god its an amazing blog..
just loved it a lot..
cheer..
